The Films Manufacturing Operator is responsible for the efficient production of quality multi-ply film from a raw material stage to a packaged finished product.
The operator is to perform these job duties with the utmost regard for safety, to personnel, equipment,
food safety standards and conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate Resin Transfer Systems
  • Manufacture Multi-Ply Tape
  • Manufacture Multiply Film
  • Convert Mill Logs to Either Finished or Semi-finished Rolls
  • Convert Semi-finished Rolls to Finished Centerfold Rolls
  • Report Production of Film
  • Package Finished Film
  • Maintain Particular Condition of Equipment
  • Maintain Product Tracking through Process Equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and reports any incident to his/her supervisor.
  • Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training.
  • Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Films Operator is Responsible and Accountable for:

1.
Producing a quality product by using tools provided including control and VIO charts and statistical quality and process control training.

2.
Maintain SAP System Accuracy to ensure correct data is captured

3.
Follow 5S procedures to maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned area.

4.
Maintaining accurate control and VIO charts, responding to the results as appropriate and following standard operating procedures and conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. 5.
    Producing a quality product, meeting established quality parameters, and delivery needs of the customer.

6.
Perform Line Assistance Duties.

7.
Cut Cores as required.

8.
Assist with Manufacturing Line Start up as needed

Other Requirements

  • Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Able to work without close supervision and instruct others as necessary.
  • Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained.
  • Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are desired.
  • Ability to pass training requirements to become qualified on one or all machine production lines.
  • Must have good communication skills both personal and via Email
  • Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills

Education and Qualifications

  • Must have good judgment with decision making regarding Safety and Quality.
  • Ability to complete production related documentation on both computer and paper forms
  • Must have excellent team skills
  • Ability to take direction from several individuals
  • Ability to work additional overtime if required to get the job tasks completed
  • Self-motivated and ability to make decisions
